Ask our Experts CF related questions

“Ask our experts” is an advisory service for people living with Cystic Fibrosis, their families and friends. We aim to answer any questions you may have about treatment, medication, nutrition or any other aspect of living with Cystic Fibrosis.

Your questions will be answered by our panel of doctors and specialists that form part of the Cystic Fibrosis Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee. These doctors are all medical experts who specialise in the different areas of CF in South Africa.

Please note that “Ask our Experts” is not a substitute for visiting your CF team and SACFA recommends that you should see your specialist CF doctor if you have any major concerns.

Kindly note that your personal details will remain confidential and you may ask a question anonymously.

This page may be useful even if you don't have any specific questions to ask as there is a list of past questions which you may find informative.
