GRANT DESMOND I HAVE CYSTIC FIBORIS. I will be swimming the Midmar mile for the second time in the hope of raising awareness and hopefully some much needed funds to assist others
who suffer from this disease who are not as fortunate as me and are not able to join me in the water.

ASHLEIGH ROBERTSON
– This will be my 2nd year swimming the Midmar Mile in aid of Cystic Fibrosis. Our daughter of 7 years old suffers from this terminal disease. It is my aim to raise awareness and much needed funds for the KZN Cystic Fibrosis, in order to help those that suffer from CF and also to support the families that make huge scarifies to make sure that they loved ones live a more comfortable life.

ALEX ROBERTSON
- Through having a daughter who suffers from CF, I have met many other people who suffer from this terminal illness. I personally never realised how many people in SA and throughout the world suffer from this condition. It is my hope to make people aware, or more aware of this illness and to try and help raise much needed funds, to give those suffering a better chance and MORE importantly hope, so they too can try and lead as normal as possible lives and enjoy longevity like you and I.

MEGGAN FRODSHAM
– In the last 2 years I have come to realise how many people in SA and throughout the world suffer from Cystic Fibrosis. I first came across CF when my Brother Simon used to Nurse Children with Cystic Fibrosis in the UK, and then I meet a family that has a daughter with Cystic Fibrosis. It is my hope to make people aware of this illness and to try and help raise much needed funds, to give those suffering a better chance.

ROB KILLICK
- This year, I have undertaken to swim the Midmar Mile in support of the KZN Cystic Fibrosis Association. All proceeds go towards the CFA in their fight against this terminal
disease. And with your support, hopefully, in the not too distant future, a cure will be found to relieve the pain and suffering endured by millions of Adults and Children worldwide

SHELLEY BOSMAN
- I am doing it because my niece has the disease and supporting this cause is important to me. We need to raise as much awareness and much needed funds as possible to
find cure or at least to be able to help those that suffer from CF lead a more comfortable life.
